Sei Laut builds and runs done-for-you AI agents — “digital employees” that handle admin, sales, and support for small and mid-sized businesses. This page explains exactly what personal data we process when you visit this website or book a free strategy consultation, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR.
1Who is responsible
The controller responsible for processing your personal data on this website under Art. 4 (7) GDPR is:
2The data we collect — and when
a) When you book a consultation
The consultation form is the only place we ask you to enter personal data. We collect only what you type:
- Identity & contact — your name, business email, and company name.
- Your situation — the bottlenecks you select (admin, lead generation, content, customer service, reporting), and any free-text you add under “Something else”.
- Booking details — the day and time slot you choose for the call.
b) When you tell us who referred you
If you enter the funnel through “Referred by a client”, we ask for the email address of the person who referred you. We use this solely to recognise and credit genuine referrals from our existing clients and to protect against fraudulent or abusive sign-ups. We check the address against our client records; you can proceed either way, and the referrer’s email is stored as part of your enquiry, not used to contact them without a lawful basis.
c) Automatically, when you browse
Like every website, our server and our analytics tools receive certain technical data your browser sends: IP address (shortened/anonymised where supported), browser and device type, referring page, and the pages and actions you take on the site. Analytics and marketing data are only processed after you accept them in the cookie banner (see §4).
3Why we use it — and our legal basis
- To schedule and prepare your consultation and to take steps at your request before any contract — Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
- To operate, secure, and debug the website — our legitimate interest in a functioning, abuse-resistant site, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
- To verify referrals and reduce fraud risk — our legitimate interest in protecting our referral programme, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
- Analytics & marketing measurement (e.g. understanding which campaigns lead to bookings) — only with your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time.
4Cookies, analytics & advertising pixels
On first visit you see a cookie banner. Nothing non-essential runs until you click “Accept.” If you decline, only the strictly necessary storage needed to remember your choice and run the site is used — no analytics or advertising.
When you accept, we may load the following measurement and advertising tools. Switch on only the ones you actually use and keep this list accurate:
- Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager [if enabled] — measures site usage and which steps lead to a booking. IP anonymisation is enabled.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel [if enabled] — measures ad performance and builds audiences.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag [if enabled] — campaign measurement for LinkedIn ads.
- TikTok Pixel [if enabled] — campaign measurement for TikTok ads.
- Google Ads [if enabled] — conversion tracking for search/display campaigns.
These providers may process data outside the EU (e.g. the USA). Where they do, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, for U.S. providers, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site’s cookies / using the banner’s “Manage” option, which stops further collection by these tools.
5Who processes your data on our behalf
We never sell your data. We share it only with vetted processors acting under a data-processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), strictly to deliver our service:
- [Hosting provider — e.g. Cloudflare / Namecheap] — serves this website and stores server logs.
- Google Workspace [if used] — email, scheduling, and Meet links for your consultation.
- [Your CRM / scheduling tool] — managing our conversation and your booking.
- The analytics & advertising providers in §4 — only with your consent.
6How long we keep it
- Consultation & referral enquiries: retained for 12 months after our last contact, then deleted — unless a contract or legal obligation (e.g. tax law) requires longer.
- Server logs: kept for a short period for security, then routinely deleted.
- Analytics/advertising data: retained per each provider’s settings (typically up to 14 months) and only while you consent.
7Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any right, email privacy@seilaut.com — we respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Sei Laut this is the Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (HmbBfDI), or the authority where you live or work.
8Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9How we keep it safe
We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable processors with their own security programmes. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures (Art. 32 GDPR) to protect your data.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools or legal obligations change. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version; material changes will be highlighted on this page.
